August 6, 201312 yr After pressing "TERR" when flying low in mountainous areas I see blue dots, green dots (both small and large) and solid green. I'd appreciate an explanation that would allowi me to decide if I'm too low or if I'm at a safe altitude. Cliff Cliff Harris

August 6, 201312 yr The colour coding is similar to wx radar but with several densities of each colour being used. The simplified key is: EGPWS Limitation Do not use the terrain display for navigation. Do not use within 15nm of an airfield not in the terrain database. Elliot Westacott
