August 8, 201312 yr Is there a tutorial or a PDF with instructions on how to reorganize your scenery files using the scenery manager (shareware that prompts me to pay up ever 2 minutes)? I have like 35 entries for NL2000 and I want to create a folder called NL2000 and then drag all the 35+ lines of sceneries into this folder hoping it would maintain the order after the move. I created a folder and then I tried to select all the lines by bracketing select + sh!ft select. That did not work.. then I deslected all and then check selected one by one and then tried to drag this set of 35 into the newly created folder which I was unable to do. It wants me to drag each one, one by one to move it to this folder? And when I drag and drop one by one, the order within the folder is changed... I cannot drag and drop in the middle.. It always goes on top. If I have to move a scenery to somewhere else.. I have to move it one by one like in FSX. Whats the point? If I have to drag one by one? The purpose of such a tool is I can select groups and then move it up or down...Rather than one by one. am I doing this wrong? Is there a better freeware or a payware that can organize scenery.cfg? My scenery.cfg is too big now and a nightmare to reorganize. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

August 9, 201312 yr Try this one. Very full featured. http://sourceforge.net/projects/fs-sceditor/ This is the scenery manager that I use also. It has become essential for me, since I only turn on scenery that I'm using during a session. This works excellent. August 9, 201312 yr Author This is the scenery manager that I use also. Thanks guys But I need some help to organize my scenery.cfg I installed this// I now have my list of scenery like I would see in FSX I selected all the FSX default scenery thats at the bottom (before any addons). I want to group them and call it FSX_DEFAULT. This way I want to group all the sceneries (e.g. US Photoscenery, US Airports, EU Photosceneries, EU Europe), ASIA Airports etc How do I do that? This way, at the highest level I want to see only like 10 or 12 folders (groups) and then within each group, I want to have other groups/folder Try this one. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
