- when some plane passing overhead, I always, and I mean literally always look up to recognise model, airline, speed, approach, etc...

- edited almost EVERY single sound.cfg and sound files to match my perception of realism and immersion.

- edited some bright airport textures, and edited the clouds in AS2012 to match my very bright FSX visuals (SweetFX)

- when flying VFR for fun and sightseeing I choose an airfield that is close to EDDM, so it would be realistic to travel by car an hour from Munich to closest GA airfield (this is hardcore, I know).  I bought German Airports 11 just for that occasion.

- I have very unusual setup for simming - Saitek Cyborg as yoke, Logitech G25 wheel acting as a throttle quadrant (rotated), G25 brake and accelerator pedals as rudder, and clutch pedal as brake. Match that!

- favorite movies are by PilotsEye, not by 20th Century Fox or whatever. :)

I will remember more, I'm sure.

-I definitely always look up at planes. I live in a flyover state however, so all I can really do from the ground is tell whether it has 2 or 4 engines. (or it's one of our UND aircraft)

-Got to see a FedEx 757 go around yesterday! It then flew a box pattern and landed.

-I always, always start my next flight from the airport I arrived at previously. I can't just jump all over the place, it doesn't work for me.

-I am currently undergoing seaplane training and loving it! The other day I flew VFR maybe 600 feet over a heard of bison and it was an unbelievably cool experience.
