August 11, 201312 yr Hey guys, I just bought the 757 by Captain Sim, and i just want to do a quick test flight before i start going through the manuals. But how do i change the screens on the attached image to the artificial horizon and speed screen, if i can call it that Been trying for a couple of hours without luck
August 11, 201312 yr You have to align the IRS (Inertial Reference System). The switches are located in the overhead panel. I suggest looking up tutorials on how to set up from a 'Cold and Dark cockpit' as this will teach you how to get all the aircraft systems up and running from a non powered state. It has been a while since I have used CS 757 so I cannot elaborate a little more. Jaime Boyle
August 11, 201312 yr Here's a tutorial a nice guy made some time ago. http://captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1220997876
August 11, 201312 yr Also be advised that Captain-Sim have modelled the round ADI with Fast/Slow Indicator. It isn't possible to get the speed tape ADI on the PFD like it is in the Level-D. You are stuck with a PFD looking like this; Regards,James White Aerosoft (Airbus X Extended/Twin Otter Extended/PFPX) & Majestic Q400 Beta Team
