PMDG 777 fuel problem
Are you sure your options are configured for Metric (kg's) weights and not imperial (lb's). Can't remember exactly where in the options this is located but it is worth checking out.

Running FSX 777 in P3D
FSX Steam Edition has better VAS management than FSX. Should try giving that ago when it goes back on sale again. No repurchase of PMDG products required for that.

using 2x SGSS with 8xCSAA antialiasing setting
The sun issue looks to me to be lens flare. If you turn it off in display settings it should disappear.

ngx nav data transfer issue / suggestion
There is a video on YouTube by Luke Parabi that covers how to set this up. Just search 'PMDG 777 Tutorial 2'.

Another Intelliscene!
I cannot see anything at Aerosoft for those aircraft, sorry. Perhaps some else here may have it.

Another Intelliscene!
Head over to the aerosoft forum, register, and then go to the downloads section. There is a section in there where users post their custom AES configs for aircraft. You may find what you are looking for there instead. EDIT: I just had a browse through there to make sure there is a file for the aircraft you requested. It is contained within the '40 Pack AES Config Files'. You may also find other files that may be of use to you.

British Airways 777 on fire at Las Vegas.
My post was meant as tongue in cheek anyway  . Just the irony of making the booking and this happening the very same day! Besides, my flights will be on a Boeing 747 so that should mean I'm extra safe

If this happens again I'll probably take to my PC with an axe
I had this before at KSFO (on the 28's). I'm sure there is a solution somewhere that it has to do with the Mesh resolution. I can't remember where I found the solution, I'll see if I can locate it for you. EDIT: I may have found it... Try this setting the mesh resolution what poster in post #9 has used here.

PMDG 777-200LR/F
Not a problem. Glad I could help.

PMDG 777-200LR/F
There is an option in the PMDG FMC to deactivate the licence should you need to do a full windows reinstall. Hit menu on the FMC...PMDG Setup...Licence...and in there there is the option to either view your licence codes or deactivate them.

FSX Steam edition
There are a few addons that are not quite yet FSX-Steam compatible, you would have to check your addons individually to see if they are compatible . Unless you are having problems with FSX, I really would not move over on to it. There are no real advantages to be gained over a perfectly working FSX install. I myself intended to move over to the Steam Edition but I have been having massive problems with terrain.dll crashes that have pretty much rendered it useless. Until Dovetail come out with a fix, I'm back on FSX which was actually working OK in the first plac

Question About CPU & GPU Usage
My apologies, I thought this post was FSX related! Misread that it was for P3D.

LOW FPS on high pc spec
17-18 fps is actually OK on the ground at a payware airport. As long as it is smooth and not stuttering, FPS should not really matter.

Question About CPU & GPU Usage
You should only be configuring P3D to use the the number of course the processor actually has. The i7-2600k only has FOUR cores, but you have hyper threading enabled with shows up as EIGHT logical cores. Hyper thread cores will make absolutely no difference with performance. Try setting this in the p3d.cfg file: [JOBSCHEDULER] AffinityMask=84

PMDG 777-200LR/F
Try restarting the sim and selecting that aircraft again. If that doesnt work, I would run the setup again and repair the installation. This happened with my and the 300ER expansion and I think this is the way I fixed it.

PMDG 777-200LR/F
You need to install SimConnect for the PMDG aircraft to function properly. These are located in your FSX Directory in the 'SDK' folder, then in the 'lib' folder and then in 'legacy interfaces' folder. Install all of the SimConnects in that folder and the aircraft will work after that. Welcome to the forum! Any more problems please post again and we will try to offer a solution. EDIT: You just beat me too it, Jim

Just converted and I'm not pleased - please help.
To the OP, What are your UT2 settings? I found I had to dial back Airline traffic to around 60% and have no VFR traffic to stop the OOM dings when arriving at my destination airport. Also, New York is a heavy area autogen wise, I would dial back to at least 'normal'. You still get a good amount of autogen at this setting with DX10.
