CH Yoke no "full and free" movement

Featured Replies

After reinstalling FS9 du to a pc upgrade my yoke is not performing quite as it should. In the calibration screen (both in Windows and via FS9) full and free movement is quite evident. But, once in the sim I'm getting about 25%. The settings in the sim are, as far as I know the same as before so shouldn't affect it I would have thought. Is there something in the cfg file or something else I can play with?

CH have their Control Manager and you really should use it. It's the only way to ensure proper calibration.

The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

I never used FSUIPC for my CH Yoke or Pedals with my FS9. I fly with FSX now and use the FSUIPC for the controls. Do you have the payware FSUIPC? If so, try it. You may get full throws then. However, don't use the Control Manager if you're using FSUIPC.

Not sure if it'll work, just my recommendation.

I've never had the need to use the control manager in the past. And, there have never been any problems in the past either. It seems strange that with the same program (but just installed into another Windows) I get this odd result. The calibratiion works exactly as before but the sim seems to just do its own thing.
