August 26, 201312 yr Exclusion rectangles in ADE don't exclude autogen. To exclude autogen, you need an airport background polygon. You can add them in ADE using the polygon tool, choose type Airport Background, and then set the tag depending on the combination of Exclude Autogen, Flatten and Mask Class Map that you want. SbuilderX can do that too, but if you're just making an AFCAD then ADE can do most of the vector features that you would need. Not sure about resizing generic buildings. You could try putting multiple buildings of the same type right next to each other instead of stretching them. Barry Friedman
August 26, 201312 yr I've got the buildings done but I will try the exlusions a few days from now. STEPS If you want to try Exclude Builder Unfortunately I've read that Exbuilder was only compatible with fs2004.

In Sbuilder u can do the following to create an exclude polygon this is how its done in FS9 ive never tried it with Sbuilder x but just in case this might help (Im assuming you know how to connect SBuilder to your sim and Show aircraft location)
August 27, 201312 yr In Sbuilder u can do the following to create an exclude polygon...That will not exclude autogen. As your second screenshot shows, those exclusion polys are for VTP scenery, not autogen. To exclude autogen you have to either use an exclusion rectangle or create a VTP2 poly that uses one of the airport background textures that automatically exclude autogen created by the underlying landclass textures. This is the way Microsoft did it. You could also use one of the landclass textures that do not have any autogen for your VTP2 poly. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.

Tried that method and no more trees. thanks  and also thanks to all the other people who responded and tried helping me.
