FS2Crew not loading

Featured Replies

Hi all: I own a copy of Airbus extended.  Nice program.  Was glad to hear when FS2Crew came out with a version for the airbus.  I purchased a copy on 08/27/2013.  Downloaded the files and did the normal install.  Nothing.  I checked forums, and found the configurator. I get the message that panel config. file not found.  I check windows explorer and the files are there.  What is not there are the FS2Crew files. One forum suggests uninstall the aircraft, then re-install.  Can't find re-install files.  HELP!!

Hi Steve,

You mean the Airbus Configurator tool is giving you that message?

Please include a screen shot in your reply.

If the Configurator is giving you that message, try running the Flight1 Registry repair tool.

Mr. York:  I did a complete un-install of everything, redownloaded all programs, then did a clean re-install.  The configurator did what it is supposed to do.  Still no luck.  Sorry, I am not familiar with how to paste a screen shot onto this post.  I have seen the post that shows what my panel cfg. should look like with the FS2Crew flies are properly installed.  They are not there. Is there a proper time to run the configurator?  Like before FSX start up, or after?  Thanks.  S. Sumner

Do not run the Aerosoft Configurator while FSX is running!!!

If the aircraft is loaded, the panel.cfg files will never be updated.

So you clicked "Enable FS2Crew Voice" in the Airbus Configurator, and your panel.cfg file is not being updated.

Make sure UAC is fully off.  Google UAC (User Account Control).

If you still can't sort it, PM me and I'll help you via a Remote Desktop.

Good Morning,  Once more,I did a complete uninstall and re-install.  Airbus X first, then FSCrew, then put the configurator in the proper folder. After a computer restart, I ran the configurator, before doing anything else. One note: My UAC settings are down all the way.  One differance is when the config. screen came up, there was no fs2crew options on the right hand side of the page.  I remember seeing this the first time I ran the config. the other day.  Is it possible something is not uninstalling properly?  thx.

there was no fs2crew options on the right hand side of the page.

You need to install Hot Fix 17... that's the Aerosoft Configurator with the FS2Crew section on the right side.

Mr. York: I found the file then ran the config. from the proper folder.  Success!!  I just need to play with it now and especially run tutorials.  Do you recommend any if any are available?  I realize this program just came out.  Just one small issue.  I get these bursts of sounds every few seconds, which only last about a second itself. Its like someone is kicking up the volume full blast for a split second.      I went into options sound and turned down engines, environment, voice, etc, but to no avail.  My system has a built in sound card, although there is no problem with sound on fs2crew for my 737ngx.  What do you think?     Thanks so much for your help.   I realize there is a time differance, since I live about 3 hours south of Chicago, Illinois, USA.  Thanks Again  S.
