Just trying to be helpful... sorry for the difficulties you are having. I posted the link because apparently the Help Desk is down too, which may be a resource to help you out. PMDG said their Servers and the site would be up and down as they prepare for the release of their 777.

 

I'm sure they'll iron out all their issues so you can get the assistance you need.

I know you are anxious to get your purchase going, but just take a second and chill out  :good: . I would imagine this outage won't be on for too long. It's just a bit of maintenance to make sure their servers won't get bogged down during the T7 release. Just have a look what happened to the PFPX servers yesterday (I've decided to hold off until the T7 launch for this product, give the servers a chance to recover :P).

 

If you send a support ticket to PMDG support through their website they might be able to help you out even quicker before the servers come back up, or give you a time when they will be back up.

 

As a small suggest, maybe there should be a small notice on the website that the servers are undergoing maintenance for people that don't follow PMDG on facebook or follow the posts on this forum.

 

PMDG have one of the best names in the FS addon world, so as I said you won't be without activating the product for too long!

Things fail sometimes and PMDG is now preparing for the release of the 777 so the website might have some additional downtime because of it, I think you should fix your attitude and take it easy. Being angry and shouting does not solve anything.

 

PMDG has awesome support, I'm sure they will get your problem solved soon enough.

So far I haven't visited any restaurant where you would have to pay before you have received the food.

Can't say I agree with this example.

 

Firstly, as FScamp stated above, usually at a restaurant you pay for your service after you have received and eaten your meal. Of course there are some places that do charge before, but standard practice is to pay after eating.

 

Secondly, in a restaurant the person taking your money is the same person that has taken your order and brought your meal. The activation servers at PMDG are just that, for activation. The servers that take your purchase are a different system altogether, which is why you could complete your purchase but not activate.

 

I again urge you to calm down, this will not last long! I was not aware the support section was down. Sometimes Ryan is online on the forum and will post in your topic and answer any questions to problems you are having.

O yeah I don't like polluting my body with fast food, only time I ever visited Mcdonalds was at Athens airport as it had the best views to the runway. Anyway I doubt you would use 100 dollars in any fast food restaurant.

Excuse me kind sir, Mr. Bradley. You see I purchased a product from PMDG today with hard earned money. My free time is very valuable and limited. I would like to enjoy the product for which PMDG received my money.  I would like to not spend all day inputing invalid codes and crashing my FSX to desktop.  I would kindly request, in the future if PMDG can not render services paid for that they do not allow money transfers to take place. This would be called good customer service.  Now kind sir, how do you intend to help me? Signed Graciously T. A. Dean.
