August 31, 201312 yr Hi all, I currently have a 6870 and looking to see if it's time to upgrade it to a newer graphics card whether it is AMD or Nvidia. I have seen that the 7950's seem to have good prices in the UK at the moment but I am not sure what the performance is like in FSX compared to other cards on the market. Does anyone have one or know anything about the performance? If not the 7950 then what would you suggest? Any replies are appreciated. September 1, 201312 yr I have a 7970 that is OK Heard the 7950 was not that far behind, but there is a diff I should have gotten NVidia though I bought the 7970 because it came with a free infinit bioshock which i find as boring as working in a control tower in a small city with barely any air traffic (Saint John NB)

I mean do you know if i will see a difference to the 6870 I have now? Or if anyone could recommend a new upgrade from it then that would be sweet. AMD or Nvidia I don't mind to be honest. September 4, 201312 yr Hi All, I have a 7970 and I'm not happy with it. I tried sooo hard to make it work in FSX I still could not get it to work properly ie I mean I still get the jagged lines, Anti aliasing does not work properly but I get great FPS 50-60fps maxed out. I know this card can do more. I tried everything in CCC but it seems not to have any effect in FSX. I think it clearly does not support FSX. It works great with other sims like X-plane or Arma3. I'm considering getting an Nvidia card after paying $450 John Sark
