September 1, 201312 yr Hi! I have a little font problem that is a little annoying. When NOT using the ENB mod my fonts when using popup displays is a little messed up....here is a picture illustrating the problem: Any ideas?? Oliver Donner
September 2, 201312 yr I don't use my MD-11 that often but I do have a fair bit of experience with it. What exactly is the problem with the text?Is it FMC entry text such as the "KSAT/KMEM" or "DELTA1" that is bugging you? Because I am pretty sure that that is the default text :S I tried entering your information into my FMC and here is what I get: Almost Identical to yours...
September 2, 201312 yr Author Yeah....almost...but on my on POS REF the last letter is scrambled, also on ALTN ROUTE there seems to be almost a cut through the text, so the font is somehow broken, which is only fixable so far when I use the ENB mod....which I don´t want anymore. The problem is also not only on the MD-11, but the NGX and the 747 and so on.... Oliver Donner
September 2, 201312 yr which is only fixable so far when I use the ENB mod Did you try using different ENB settings? I ask this because I also use ENB and my old settings messed up my FSX quite a bit.... I then tried different settings and the problems went away I would recommend the settings that FlyTampa use, They have it on their forums Cheers
September 2, 201312 yr Author As I said....the problem goes away, when ENB mod is installed....I removed it however because of the fps impact and the overall look, which I didn´t like that much, regardless what setting I used. So, this is with vanilla FSX, only Shade is installed, but the problem was there before Shade. Maybe it´s an ATI problem? I use the HD 6570. Oliver Donner
September 2, 201312 yr Commercial Member Look at the aspect ratio - the FMS is stretched, which is why you are seeing this. You need to make the width of the FMS narrower. Best regards, Robin.
September 2, 201312 yr Maybe it´s an ATI problem? I use the HD 6570. Do you have the most updated drivers installed? I do not own an AMD card so I don't know much about them but from what I heard, FSX likes Nvidia cards A LOT more than AMD cards... Did you try re-installing FSX?
