  1. So....week is almost over....what about that release window?? :Waiting:
  2. Agree....this is my last addon from Carenado.
  3. That was meant ironic.
  4. This SP is taking almost more time than the development of the 737... But it´s PMDG....we are used to such things. With any luck we will get the 747 v2 in ca five years. ^_^
  5. Thanks....still, this addon is the worst in terms of performance.
  6. Someone mentioned the option to turn off the G1000 on the right side....how can one do that? Haven´t found the option.
  7. Hi! Good work, that really helped to make this bird flyable! Still....it is a performance hog and I wished I would have bought some other addon....but now I can use it at least.
  8. I am definately going through a refund here. The plane is uncontrollable on takeoff due to the bad performance. Even in the air the fps don´t go up much higher. This addon is probably the worst I have bought in quite a while. Carenado had such a good reputation and the C337 is still a joy to fly with great visuals and terrific performance. This "thing" however, is a disgrace! Should have bought and addon airport for the money!
  9. Yeah I bought the Phenom today and the performance is TERRIBLE! Probably the worst addon I have and I know Captain Sim!! This plane is unflyable right now! I think I am going to request a refund.
  10. Hi! I just discovered a little bug when loading a saved flight. I was at the gate and had the aircraft completely shutdown. I went through my preflight etc. and when starting to taxi I just saw that the NAV lights and the strobes were not working. Then I saw this: Seems like there are some problems with loading a saved flight.
  11. So I tried 0035 and it doesn´t work. It always gives me an "Invalid Entry". What am I doing wrong??? I go to Custom and try to enter there, but no luck.
  12. Hi! I was wondering how one could set up their own turn around time in Ground Operations. For me 55 minutes is to long to wait, so I wanted something like 20 minutes or so, but I can´t seem to figure out how to enter that. In what format does it accept manually set time? No where in the manual have I found an answer to that.
  13. Where do I find the ICAO.cfg?
  14. Seriously....who needs this? This is THE most basic and simple thing.... Just wondering...
  15. I have fallen in love with this plane! From the way she behaves during taxi and the accompanying sounds to the startup of the engines to the startup of the plane from cold and dark. It just feels really believable! Handflying this lady is a blast....I have flown this bird up to cruise, which I never did with any other addon and it was the most exciting time of my flightsimming experiences so far. The auto cruise feature is the single best idea any addon developer ever had, have to check ground operations out the next few flights. The performance is a little worse than the NGX, but I think that PMDG will work on that. Overall the price is a little too high, but I don´t regret buying her!
  16. Eraser74 replied to Guy1300's topic in PMDG 777
Go to PMDG OPTIONS and then PERFORMANCE and set in the PFD and ND 15 or 8 for the refresh rate....that helped.
  17. I have this issue with the NGX also....so it´s a FSX bug that is more likely to be visible when your pc has trouble running the simulation. You don´t notice it with the NGX because you have higher frames with it, so the impact is not noticable, but it is there....believe me. I have my mouse pointer always down on the taskbar so that it is not in the VC when I don´t need it....it has become second nature to me so far that I do this even on aircraft that don´t need it.
  18. Yeah....after several tests I have to agree that the 777 is slightly worse in FPS than the NGX. For me it´s about 2-4 fps per second which results in the picture being a little more stuttery. Hoping for a performance manager, as with the NGX.
  19. No TOPCAT isn´t supported right now....hope they will fix that soon.
  20. OK somehow I always have a frequency manually dialed in....so that autotune doesn´t work if I don´t clear that entry. Any guesses how that is possible?? The dialed in values are: 113.70/000 I am at a loss.....
  21. Yeah....welcome to the detail that PMDG put into their VCs!
  22. Hi! Do I miss the option anywhere or does the autotune of ILS frequencies not work correctly? I have made a flight from EGLL-LEPA without the autotune and now the tutorial without it. I always get a EICAS message that the frequency is not correct and I have to manually enter it. Edit: It seems that there was a frequency already entered manually....however I didn´t do it. When I deleted the entry, the automated ILS worked.
  23. There is none for the 777 as of now. Maybe they will add that later! I sure hope so.
  24. I thought Froogle said that there was a Performance Manager like in the NGX....that helped me a lot. But I can´t find that for the 777. Would be nice if PMDG would include that in a future patch.
  25. So far I am very pleased with the performance.....it´s not as smooth as the MD-11 but it seems better than the NGX....but I have to test a little more. In cruise it is super smooth, need to test on the ground more.
