Large parts of the world do not have quality aerials to make photoscenery. Photoscenery will never be a commercial success because of the way flight simmers build computers. I just buy up every thing they have before they go out of business.

I really wish I was into simming as much as I am now when Sim Savvy was around. They had such a fantastic deal with their US scenery especially.

Photo Real America...A great idea...need 2TB storage and need to move 160mb/sec avg....how many simmers can do that?

So how do we build them vs. how should be build them for Photoscenery ?  I always thought FSX did not work very well with photoscenery and have stayed away from it for that reason.

RAID0....it's inexpensive (free), it produces the thruput performance needed for photoscenery. It can handle the massive file sizes of photoscenery. 2x2TB arrays will run all the scenery ever made for FSX.

When I finally decide to cover the whole world in photoscenery RAID0 is a very ingenious solution, no wonder his shots are crips and clear...Do you use a RAID hardware controller ???? I run my FSX off an external WD 1TB HDD via e-sata, I have the space just need your guidance lol.
