When I finally decide to cover the whole world in photoscenery RAID0 is a very ingenious solution, no wonder his shots are crips and clear...Do you use a RAID hardware controller ???? I run my FSX off an external WD 1TB HDD via e-sata, I have the space just need your

RAID is built into you'r intel chipset. The driver is on the chipset CD. The driver is installed into the operating system during the run/stop to enter third party software BEFORE the operating system is fully installed.....you've already paid for RAID.

I use 128kb stripe size.

So how do we build them vs. how should be build them for Photoscenery ?  I always thought FSX did not work very well with photoscenery and have stayed away from it for that reason.

Curious to know this too.  How are we supposed to build our computer for use with photo real scenery?

And, FSX works great with photo scenery so I'm not sure where or what you've heard that has persuaded you away.  It has its negatives just as land class scenery does, but it works just fine.

I have SimSavvy USA and some for Europe that I've bought and some I've made myself.  I run it all from an external 3TB drive and have never had any issues whatsoever.

Hey Mohamed, great shots!

That metallic part on your engines is so realistic! Mine doesn't look like this at all. How have you achieved that effect?

Did PMDG update these textures and I didn't realize?   :P

Great shots! Do you ever run into OOMs?

OOM is a function of autogen concentration: MSE 2 & Sim Savvy LOD radius 9.5, France VFR LOD 7.5, Austria Pro HD LOD 6.5.

With photoscenery you can max - out visual quality AA AF all sliders max.

That is exactly why Sim Savvy is out of business!
