September 5, 201312 yr Or do it in the FMC where you can assign key commands. Actually it says "Z" for the "A/P L" and and "shift+ctrl+z" for "a/p disengage switch". Yesterday I could get the A/P to disengage with "Z" ( I have it assigned to a button on the yoke) but today I hear a clicking sound but nothing happens. Haven't tried checking why yet!
