September 8, 201312 yr I am stunned to see all these things in the T7. Maybe a silly question but are they 'somehow' implemented into the plane bypassing the inherent FSX limitations or are these 'visual only'? Thanks for attention. Very curious. Best regards, Mike

September 15, 201312 yr Satcom? yea they really implemented it, so be careful with your satellite telephone subscription fees, those things are expensive! Nobody sitting at PMDG offices responding to your ACARS requests to base? The above is of course not true. Information below is. FSX doesn't know what an HF frequency is. For this reason and this reason alone, neither does FSinn or Vatsim. On the ACARS thing though, here's a new Vatsim development. https://www.facebook.com/pilotclientproject http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=62655&start=30 As you may know, ACARS (Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System) is a communications tool that uses text. As a communications tool it requires at least 2 people to participate. A "Pilot" in an aircraft, and another person on the ground, such as a controller, or company maintenance or dispatch personnel. A message is sent from the aircraft, and received by another recipient in a different location. Or a person on the ground may send a message to the aircraft. Without people to read, or send messages, the ACARS is going to display everything that nobody sends. which is nothing. September 15, 201312 yr I have a slight hope that the SDK opens up the com part to third party developers. For example, OPUS offers an FSX menu where you can look at ATIS info on airports on your route. That function could be simulated fairly realistically through the 777 (ACARS weather request).
