What's your name, please? Not sure what you mean under "systems and flight model overview". The rocket plane has most of the systems modeled. I guess they are too many to be listed. I have personally seen the plane fly on the ballistic trajectory with the max altitude of over 400 thousand feet and reach speeds over Mach 4. With the proper piloting technique I can pilot X-15-S2 up to 400 NM from the launch point (provided it's a carrier launch from FL450 at Mach 0.83) and land. I have tested it on the UAAA - UAKK test route. Learning to pilot X-15 is a tricky business. You must really delve into the manual and get the sense how it operates, what steps to follow and so on. But it's much fun! Search for some in-sim videos on Youtube for X-15-S2 and you will get a feel of what you may be dealing with.

Bryan, I have average monitor resolution. It runs at 1920x1080 (GF780GTX here). All video drivers are up to date. Nothing unique about my setup, really. I will reinstall FS2Crew and will report if the issue is gone or not. Bryan, LOL: this whole thing was gone after I reinstalled FS2Crew! Ain't it funny? Ok. The issue is solved (looks like). Next time I know what to do. Thanks.

Bryan, I don't get it: I am not trying to troubleshoot PMDG 777. I have recently updated it and I don't seem to have any issues with it. It works until I actually invoke the FS2Crew in it. Please explain me how will doing the test flights in 777 without FS2Crew will help me isolate the problem? Thanks.

Bryan, it happens when I am flying in Nepal.

Here's the list of things I'd like to see improved/added: - First ground crew contact upon aircraft parking. The ground crew voice is distorted. - Boarding sounds. Get rid of "mama, mama!" child's chant, add new/updated flight attendant dialogues with passengers. There's no variety and the lady keeps saying "good morning" even when it's evening time outside - Improve the briefings. At this point, there's no option for non-NADP departure - The captain's text being read with obvious mistakes (listen to the "monitor if you could" portion of phrase in non-US voices) - Add the "Russian crew" option. I am personally willing to help record those since I am from Kazakhstan; Thanks!

Greetings to all, recently I have bought this model from Xtreme Prototypes and started to delve into this wonderful rocket plane simulation. The craft flies well in P3D. Depending on the ballistic trajectory, one can expect the flight range to be in excess of 300 nautical miles while the top of climb altitude reaching 300-400 thousand feet. Despite the in-sim limitations (like maximum Mach number is about 4.7, no proper rocket engine simulation within the sim) the craft is very much fun to fly. Opus weather engine has recently added stratosphere weather simulation to their add-on which helps get the stratosphere flying more fun. If any of you are interested in discussing the craft, flying techniques and etc here, please welcome with your posts.

I guess it's time to revive this topic. Bought the X-15-A2 Special edition. Very interesting rocketplane! Has anyone learnt to fly the approach pattern according to the real world procedures? I am struggling with it. Usually losing energy and falling short of the runway.

Just press and hold left ALT key for 1 sec. The title bar will disappear. Easy cake!

Whenever the boarding is going on I hear the background sighs of some baby in the cabin. Besides the flight attendant (female) is welcoming passengers on board with a few words. It seems to me that the sound clip created to make boarding 'live' is a bit too short and simple and having it repeat many many times during the boarding time gets annoying and kills immersion. Moreover it's the same in 737NGX, AXE and the Dash 8-Q400. Looks like it was simply copied between those versions of the FS2Crew. May I request to update that clip and make it more 'sophisticated' and closer to the real world operations? I think it would be best to simply record flight boarding sounds from the forward aircraft entrance of several flights, edit them and then include into the software. Thanks for the attention!
