ILS Display in the NAV/RAD

Featured Replies

When I load the T7 with everything running and I program the FMC with the arrival ILS runway,in the NAV/RAD display it loads automatically the arriving ILS frequency. When though I load the T7 in the cold and dark state and complete all the procedures and the programming of the FMS as before the correct ILS in the NAV/RAD display is not shown. Any ideas?

The panel states are a bit buggy, I never use them anyway. I only use the "Previous Flight State" to pick up my plane how I left it.

A quick fix to your issue is to Press "Delete" on your FMC, and delete the ILS/CRS value you have, and that should reset the ILS frequency and course.

Hope this helps.

Hi Ahmed, When I press "Delete" on the ILS it brings me the word PARK.and it doesn't reset the frequencies to the correct one.

Have the same issue. We have to wait until PMDG brings the first SP1/Hotfix.

This is what it should do.

Auto-tuning sets the ILS to PARK on the ground and the initial stages of the flight, then later on this will change to armed (PARK with a frequency/course and a prompt to manually activate if desired) and later (start of descent or some distance before destination) will actively auto-tune to the ILS.

Also, beware that auto-tuning will occur only if an ILS approach is selected to the flight plan from the DEP/ARR CDU page.

Indeed. I have initially wrote that it will set it to PARK, then decided to erase it and posted my comment, lol.

There's nothing wrong in the PARK status as it will not change till you approach your destination.

Defaulting to Manual though is probably going to be addressed in a later fix.
