What database does PMDG Use? Navigraph? or NavDataPro?

Featured Replies

I wanted to add Kai Tak to the data base I found this link

http://www.vapap.com/kai-tak-airport

IT gives me a choice between the NAvigraph and NavDataPro. Does it matter which one I download and run?

I ran both..and I think it added the KaiTak to the two files wpnavapt.dat and airports.dat

I did all this while I was enroute to Kai Tak..so I cannot type in VHHX in Fix (in the CDU).. maybe I need to exit and restart the FSX?

Navigraph by default. I'd be intersted to know if the Aerosoft navigation DB works with this though. Aerosoft navigation DB supports RF legs (would be great if PMDG updated their products to work with them too).

Best regards,,

Robin.

I use NavDataPro with no issues in the T7.

This is easy peasy..

just download that naivgraph PMDG file, run it and then load up FSX and set ARR = VHHX rwy 13, and it loads up all the way points.. in fact I did an auto land all the way to the checkered  box.. It will not turn to 13, you got to do that manually.
