PFD/EHSI displays spinning around and around on startup

Featured Replies

So this is a gem of a new "feature".

When I now load the T7, the PFD and EHSI displays are just spinning around and around endlessly. Nothing has changed since my previous flight when things were working just fine.

I've tried reinstalling the product to no avail.

There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to any of it - the wheels just keep falling off this thing. The software appears to be devouring itself. :\

This almost looks like some kind diagnostic mode for the developers. All the values are cycling between their minima and maxima (speed tape, altitude, heading, pitch, yaw, roll).

Anyway, I submitted a ticket.

I have no idea why this would suddenly start behaving this way.

As truly bizarre as this problem is, PMDG reports that I am not the first to report it. Unfortunately, the exact cause of the problem is not understood at the moment. In all cases, only a complete wipe and reinstallation of FSX and the T7 remedied the problem for those who experience this phenomenon - my case being no exception.

Anyway, I thought I would mention the [unfortunate] conclusion to this matter should someone else be as unlucky as I was.

I had this too on one flight. But it went away by itself. Have flown about 50-60 hours since and never seen it again!
