Airspeed Low Yellow Waring in EFIS

Featured Replies

Flying from BIKF to CYYT, at FL340, suddenly I get an Airspeed Low warning, and had to dive all while in AP. Then I did A/T disc and and slammed full throttle, got back to ,833 and engaged AP again, and started to decelerate again, then went into Thrust Lim and changed to CLB from CRZ and this stopped it happening.

Sounds like a weather issue with those sudden unrealistic wind shifts. You probably got a sudden tail wind.

I don't think it was that as I am half an hour from there and still have the problem.

Or it was an unrealistic change in temperature. What weather engine are you using?

DWC

Weird.  I got this once before, and it was definitely because of the weather (also DWC).  I don't think there's much you can do about it, unless you have a reg version of FSUIPC and apply some press/wind smoothing on top of DWC to catch the random wildcards here and there.

Kyle,

Thanks I was coming to the same conclusion. I do have a Reg FSUIPC and will have a play with that if it happens again, at least I know to be checking the weather next time. Thanks
