Flight 1 Cessna 441 Conquest II or Eaglesoft Cessna Cit...

Featured Replies

I know they don't compare. I am looking for a plane to complement my personal aircraft fleet: Flight1 Cessna 421 Golden Eagle, Flight1 Piper Meridian and Eaglesoft Cessna CJ1. I also have other airliners but what I want now is a personal/business plane. I love the new Flight1 ATR and know I would enjoy it but it is not exactly a personal craft. My PC has the muscle: PIV 3.2GHZ, 1GB DDR RAM, Nvidia Geforce 4 5950 and 240 GB HDD.I think the 441 Conquest II is a better quality simulated plane than the Citation X, but it is pretty much the same as my (gorgeous) 421 Golden Eagle and cruises at about the same speed as the Meridian, whereas the Citation X is different and (a lot) faster. Please enlighten me with yur advice. The cost is about the same. Which do you think would I enjoy more?.THX.

The CX has a lot more range and speed. As you say the 441 is more a competitor to the Meridian or maybe the CJ1.Personally I'd go for the 441 because it has older avionics (I don't like those modern CRT/TFT cockpits, give me real gauges, knobs and dials and I'm happy). But if you like that stuff you may find the 441 a bit oldfashioned.

The other side of that coin is that you've got the 421, a jet would fill a gap in your hangar. The CX is a lot of plane though - maybe consider the Citation II or premier?EDIT- also, I don't think that quality is an issue in this decision - both are top notch packages.

I might drop in the Aeroworx King Air B200. With your PC it should run nice and smooth. Also it is a very realistic modelling of the a/c and systems. The Citation X is a great plane as well. A bit easier to fly than the king air in my opinion. Nothing like the speed with the X though. A very unique experience unlike any plane I've flown in FS.__Josh

What I would do, is add the RealityXP JetLine4 gauges to the CJ1.That gives you avionics on par with the Meridian, quality wise and will no doubt make you want to fly the CJ1 much more..The Conquest is exceptionally well done, but like you said, similar to the 421.www.reality-xp.com, community, user files.

Thanks to all. I decided for the Citation X.

Good choice!!
