September 17, 201312 yr Hi all! I'm getting Full Throttle sound when throttles are at idle after landing. I land, use reverse thrust, disengage reversers, taxi to stand, but the full throttle sound remains  Any idea's other than a reinstall? :Praying: Many thanks!
September 17, 201312 yr Are you changing view? have you tryed pressing Q twice? (sound off, then on) Regards Luke M
September 17, 201312 yr Author Thanks for the prompt reply Spook! Changing views doesn't seem to cause the problem, as it happens whether I do or don't change. I will try the Q tip next time I fly and let you know. Many thanks!
September 20, 201312 yr What does your N1 show, 98%? Is the A/T on or off? Are the throttle levers in the idle position? Check on the N1 Gauges as to whether or not REV is showing. If it is showing then you still have reverse thrust set. Are you using a hardware throttle or the VC throttles/buttons? Rob

Rob For me, my throttle was idle and to was the N1, and my auto throttle was off. But when I Advance the throttle full and then immediately back to Idle, The full power sound stops, but if I change views after that the full throttle sound is going again. Aaron Brazda.
September 22, 201312 yr Sounds like your reverse thrust is still on. How have you calibrated reverse thrust? Do you cancel reverse thrust when the aircraft slows to 80kts? Rob
September 22, 201312 yr II have it setup so I have a button that controls both levers. And I cancel reverse thrust at 60kts. Aaron Brazda.
September 22, 201312 yr Do you get a reduction of power when you cancel the reverse thrust or does it stay the same? Rob
September 23, 201312 yr Yes it cancels as it should but the and the sound goes back Idle sound as well but when I cycle through the views and go back to the virtual cockpit The reverse thrust sound is there. Aaron Brazda.
September 23, 201312 yr This is a known FSX bug. Google it. Just another "gift" from Microsoft hidden inside of FSX. Hit "Q" twice and it should reset the sound. Dave Wegner - Don't be afraid of common sense or the search function.
September 23, 201312 yr Check that your views cycle assignments and VC are not also assigned to any throttle assignments in you Settins - Controls Rob
