September 21, 201312 yr Hi Everyone. I have Kai Tak installed in the FMC. I downloaded it from VAPAP. But when I download a flightplan from VRoute and install it into the 777 flightplans folder, when I try to load this plan into the FMC I get a INVALID ENTRY. I do not have this issue with any other flightplan used in the same FMC from the same 777 flighplan folder. Any help is much appreciated. Thank You.

Hi, Dave, Is the flight plan you are downloading using the same ICAO code for Kai Tak, presumably VHHX? Also, there are two versions of the installation program that creates the data for VHHX in the PMDG navdata folder; one is for Nav Data Pro and one is for Navigraph. So you might want to make sure you used the correct one. Hope this is of some help. Mike
September 22, 201312 yr yes I get the same. The plan downloads to the correct format but the FMC wont recognize it but here is the weird bit..If you enter VHHX in manually the FMC will recognize it. Try it if you like. ZORAN

Try it if you like. After running the VHHX installation program on the latest Airac, VHHX came up as it should complete with runways and some STARs. I don't use VRoute much -- are you sure it is generating flight plans specifically in PMDG format? Flight plan files can be read using notepad, so perhaps you should open the VRoute plan and then open a plan generated and saved by the PMDG 777 CDU (preferably also using VHHX) and see if they look like they are in the same format. Please let me know how it works out. Mike

Yeah I have the exact same. I find that using a FSX generated flight plan halfway through (page 6!!!) "Invalid Entry Invalid Entry!" It gets a little frustrating. Would be nice if PMDG did a FSX flight plan import. Thanks Zoran Hi, Dave, Is the flight plan you are downloading using the same ICAO code for Kai Tak, presumably VHHX? Not anything with VHHX in it though. I just love that scenery.....don't we all! Thanks Mike.

December 10, 201312 yr I am not sure if it is your problem, but could it not be the elevation issue with the 777 FMC? There is still this flightplan import issue on all departing airports with an elevation of less than 1ft. (VHHX elevation is 0ft on my scenery.) I just change the flightplan .rte file in ...\pmdg\Flightplans\ folder, using notepad and for me problem solved. December 10, 201312 yr Contact the author of the program at VAPAP and he will give you instructions on how to fix the issue. Ben Veasy
