My aircraft shadows have always looked fine but some other people do seem to have issues.

 

The NZFSIM DX10 HowTo has some settings (BioSHOCK) which I recall worked in some cases - also there were some other people who had success forcing AA from NVI - so not following the how to guid4e settings.

    The vast majority of these obscure FSX.cfg  entries do little or nothing of value, except make FSX more unstable. What's even more bizarre are the online "calculators" that make ridiculous assumptions

I managed to make it work, finally! :-)

The BioShock thing alone didn't make it, in addition to it I had to enable the other AA selection. I also made it to force, but don't know if it made any difference. Thanks!
