Is it likely to be released before mid. October... :(

Absolutely impossible - there will be no box before the upcoming hotfix/servicepack has been released ...

He he, in fact, I want the box version to have a souvenir, a concret proof I buy it, even within 20 years I will have this box :rolleyes:

You really should back it up (together with your PMDG T7 order code file). PMDG charge for extended (re-)downloads, see here:

I don't really mind the extra USD 5 but it's an avoidable procedure - for you and for PMDG.

 

BTW, it's good "airmanship" to back up any installers, serial keys and proves of purchase, no matter what kind of re-download service is provided by whom ...

 

In case you reinstall on a different system, uninstall on the old system first - your PMDG T7 activation counter will be reset automatically when running the uninstall procedure.

 

For a souvenir, take a screenshot of your first (delivery) flight in the PMDG 777 and print it ...

So if you happen  to lose your  cd of the 777  or it gets  damaged   do you expect  the store  to replace it  for  you free of  charge

Well obviously not as discs are physical and digital is not, so your argument is invalid.
