Hello everybody, I wait for the release of the box version of the T7.

Is it likely to be released before mid. October... :(

  • Oh... okay thanks...
  • But when I will have the installer, could I save this on a CD or USB, etc... ? In order to install it soon or on another computer (with MY key !) because in case of a problem on my computer, I lose the installer...

He he, in fact, I want the box version to have a souvenir, a concret proof I buy it, even within 20 years I will have this box

You really should back it up (together with your PMDG T7 order code file). PMDG charge for extended (re-)downloads, see here:

http://www.precisionmanuals.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=100&idcategory=10

I don't really mind the extra USD 5 but it's an avoidable procedure - for you and for PMDG.

BTW, it's good "airmanship" to back up any installers, serial keys and proves of purchase, no matter what kind of re-download service is provided by whom ...

In case you reinstall on a different system, uninstall on the old system first - your PMDG T7 activation counter will be reset automatically when running the uninstall procedure.

For a souvenir, take a screenshot of your first (delivery) flight in the PMDG 777 and print it ...   :P

Can't believe you get charged $5 to re download a 778MB base installer for something you paid $90 (£57) for a licence.

So if you happen  to lose your  cd of the 777  or it gets  damaged   do you expect  the store  to replace it  for  you free of  charge
