September 27, 201312 yr Hi out there, I read in a B777 Cockpit guide that with a second press on the VNAV Button VMAV should be disengahed. This does not work in my B777. Is this a bug? Tom

September 27, 201312 yr Indeed. In the 737 if you de-select a pitch/roll mode, it'll drop into CWS; the 777 doesn't have this, so you can't de-select them. Jordan Forrest
September 27, 201312 yr Tom, If VNAV is the ARMED mode (in white on the PFD), then a second push of the VNAV button disarms VNAV. However, if VNAV is the ENGAGED mode (in green on the PFD), a second push will not disengage VNAV. Rushad E.
