Flight 1 ATR vs. Eurowings ATR

Featured Replies

I was wondering if there are any articles / reviews --- or if anyone could provide a comparison between the two aircraft.I have the Eurowings Bae 146 and love it. They did a great job.Any feedback on either product would be great. Thanks,BobKMEM

There's a review of it by Andrew Herd here: http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kds?$=main/review/atr/atr.htmI thought it mentioned more of the Aerosoft version, but I don't see as much of it as I thought there was.Really - if I needed to be persuaded one way or the other by something about the product, the fact that this is the first major MS flightsim aircraft that was signed off on by the company that made the real aircraft would probably do it!Simpit

You really can't even compare the two, they are in seperate leagues - Flight1's ATR took probably 10 times more effort/time to develop than the one by Eurowings. So which one you think should be better?Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2

There are quite a few Airline Pilots that fly ATRs in Real Life that fly the F1 ATR. In addition, the F1 ATR was created with the help of the ATR Company. It's like flying the real thing.

Hans Hartman programmed the gauges for both planes and the new one is far far more advanced than the old Eurowings one...
