License Error

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Trying to install the F15E again after a computer rebuild. Once I run the installer I am not asked for any license key, it just installs fine. Once in FSX when I select the F15E I get an error 1001 invalid license. Not sure where I can type in the key? The plane loads in FSX but cant start any of the engines etc.

So how can I register the F15E again?

Many thanks,

Elliot

Flight1 but it does not seem to be in their store anymore - I backed up the installer from when I brought it around a year ago.

Flight1 does not sell the F15E. They never have sold it. Flight1 only handles the sale for Milviz.

The download for the F15E itself is hosted at http://milviz.com in the Flightsim/Products section:

http://milviz.com/fs/item.php?id=F-15E

The F15E installer is "wrapped" into the Flight1 executable, and the license code you received is handled by the "wrapper" and not by the extracted F15E installer executable. That is why you cannot "reinstall" directly from the extracted F15E installer executable!

You must only and always use the original downloaded Flight1 "wrapper" executable if you wish to reinstall the product.

I suggest downloading the complete package from the link provided, then install using the Flight1 executable. You do not have to repurchase the product. Simply use the "Reinstall" option in the lower right corner of the Flight1 installer menu. Have your key file somewhere you can find it easily.

Ah ok - I was confused by the Buy Now download, but its downloading now. I couldnt seem to install it with Flight1 but that was because the file I have isnt the wrapper but the .exe installation by the looks of it.

Downloading now from the Milviz site. Many thanks for your help!
