PMDG737ngx Instument Panel Issue

Featured Replies

It will be a push, Paul - the 780 will do it, and a pair of 580's will (easily) too - (even 3 x 27" monitors). My old 580 worked well with 3 x 19" (3840 x 1024).

I think a pair of 660's or 670's will work with 3 x 24", too, and the 680 is a reasonably capable card - so it might well work. I would try it, as three monitors give one a terrific field of vision - and immersion.

I just purchased and installed a new 27" monitor and got rid of my Samsung TV.

The color in this new monitor is great, but I see no improvement as far as jaggies and a great amount of shuddering on runways.

So any ideas on what to do next.

Paul

..   So a 24" 1920 x 1080 x 32 is fantastic, but going to a 27" at 1920 x 1080, i.e. less than 1-1/2" diagonally to each side now makes it look like the TV again.......??

Could you cut n paste the [Display.Device.Nvidia GeForce GTX 680.........] entries here, Paul?

If nothing has changed - then the display should be pretty close - even the same as - to that displayed by the 24" monitor. A single 680 can easily drive this resolution!!

If you did not change anything I can't tell you what is wrong, Paul, as - if nothing has changed and the earlier post #13 is as you wrote - then it must be the monitor which is wrongly setup.

What does Windows think it is?

The 24" monitor is almost perfect, a small amount of shudders and jaggies.

The 27" looks almost the same an the tv but better colors. A lot of shimmering on the ngx instrument panel.

Is it the entries in Nvidiainspector you want?

If not where do I find what you want?

In controlPanel/Display I changed the 'main display' to the 27"

monitor and it looks better.
