October 6, 201312 yr Hello As can be expected for some addon airports, I have been experiencing airport scenery anomalies with the DX10 fixer. The anomalies don't immediately appear when I load my aircraft but after about 3min or so the airport aprons/taxiways and runways turns in to a reflective ice rink. It is difficult to explain so some screen shots below will illustrate the problem. These are from FlyTampa's LGAV. I have also had it happen with other dev payware airports as well. Is there anyway to correct this? I am reluctant to approach the devs since a lot them do not offer DX10 related support. John Pipilas Win 10 - i7 2600k CPU - AMD Radeon R9 Fury X GPU
October 6, 201312 yr Fixed with the upgrade, John - git on over to FSS and download a fresh copy: it's a new version. Un-install the libraries of the old one, then install over the top - ok! pj i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.

January 17, 201412 yr Author Hi Paul Looks like this problem has re-occurred for me. This time at LH simulations Budapest airport which I recently purchased. FSX time was set to Dawn. I get reflective ice rink effect on aprons/taxiways/runways. I have updated DX10Fixer tool to version 1.3. Is there any specific setting(s) that needs to be tweaked to prevent this from happening? January 17, 201412 yr Fixed with Version 1.0, Build 19, John. Did you run the Fixer again after you installed the airport? Lastly - 1.4 is now available at FSS, so you might try a re-install, using the default settings, (plus ticking the three boxes at the beginning). pj i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
