Hi All,

 

I love DX10 with SweetFX and Shade. Thanks go out to Steve and PaulJ for all their combined hard work to date.

 

I'm flying over a small part of the UK close to London City airport at 2,000ft and can see a pair of smoke stacks in the distance. Their smoke is blinking on and off. If I turn my lights on using the L key the smoke stops flashing. Any clues on how to fix this?

Hiya, Darren!

 

You can probably fix it with an invisible light in the aircraft you're using. Take a look at the procedure outlined on page 38 of the manual - Legacy Airport Lights, after reading the "Performance" section on page 37. It may well be the answer, so - try it and let us (Steve) know by posting in the official forum. ok!

Are effects enabled ? 

 

Button should say DISABLE  if they are - from build 19 there is text which says ON to remove the confusion

I should have said that I haven't purchased Steve's DX10 fixer. Bit short of cash at the moment.

ah!  In that case follow the instructions in the bonus directory of the free version about adding ballast lights to your aircraft.

Where can I get the 'free version' from Steve?
