October 12, 201312 yr Flying over the big lake I just did a step climb from 340 to 390, but I accidentally entered 396 in the MCP altitude window and pressed the knob to make the FMC values change and accepting the new position. After I pushed the know in all the predicted FMC values disappeared. All these fields were blank for approximately 5 Minutes until the values finally came back. My question now is: Is it a bug or a feature (yeah, we're talking about PMDG after all so I though I'd better ask ) If it's a bug I hope it will be fixed. If it's a feature: I love you PMDG Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!
October 12, 201312 yr I submitted a ticket on this a couple weeks ago. Was told that they have not seen this (really?) and likely just the FMC recalculating the data. I think it is a bug that they need to fix. I find it hard to believe the bloody FMC blanks out like this in the real world. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Eric

It is surprising that all data is lost temporarily though. I had an issue where the takeoff [V1, VR, V2] speeds would never appear. I would enter the same information as usual but I would never get the speeds. Regards, Jeremy Chesney
October 13, 201312 yr Commercial Member I doubt very much that it is because it is recalculating. I have not seen this particular problem (yet). I see you are running some kind of display mod. Maybe it is disturbing the display update, giving the appearance of failure? Interesting - it is not calculating.displaying anything related to speed/time specifically. Best regards, Robin.
