October 13, 201312 yr Commercial Member Hi Does anyone else just have squares for the coastline around Dublin? 10 years of PC flying and I have never been to Dublin. I purchased eirsims EIDW and noticed it then. I disabled EIDW, all mesh scenery, and also the myworld landclass. It still seems to be blocks in the default? Wondering if there is a fix, or some payware to fix it. Moley
October 13, 201312 yr More than likely one of your addons has disabled default files. Look in ...\FS9\Scenery\Eurw\scenery for files that appear to be disabled by renaming the extension from *.bgl to something else. This can happen when addons are deleted and not uninstalled, there is a difference. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.

Hi Yes - a worthy enhancement, but... ... if you get Playsims' (Horizon) VFR photoscenery series you get good coastlines, 5 m mesh and the photoscenery all together. The series covers all the UK and RoI except for a central belt across Scotland and some islands. Apparently the last parts are on the way but then they have been for over a year. Also, there are some odd conflicts between Ultimate Terrain and some other addons that can cause one set of vector coastlines to appear along with UT's land/water mask so making some funny looking reefs and spits. Also, note that the default mesh is offset by a mile or so, which causes steep cliffs where the accurate addon LWM intersects the offset default topography. Personally, I think if you have the cash you'd be much better with an integrated package for the UK along with UT for Europe. Cheers, D
