October 14, 201312 yr Hi, I was looking at the captains preflight flows from FS2crew and there couple items I'm wondering where they are. The first one is "Gyro Caging control" it says to call then release. Guess how do I test the oxygen? Look in the FCOM, but I could not find anything on it, it was probably there but I just didn't see it. Aaron Brazda.
October 14, 201312 yr The first one is "Gyro Caging control" I think that is releasing the gyro on the standby attitude indicator (if you have the standby instruments installed (not the digital standby instrument) on the center instrument panel. Guess how do I test the oxygen? The oxygen mask is next to the captain's left knee. The container says "EROS". Press the test button to the left of the oxygen hose. You should hear a momentary flow of oxygen accompanied by a yellow X in the upper left corner. Now press the EMERGENCY/TEST button right below the oxygen hose and then press and hold the test button. You should hear a continuous sound of oxygen. Kenny Lee"Keep climbing"
October 17, 201312 yr It's stowed in a box on the side console, below the steering tiller and by the front left corner of the seat cushion. The test button, flow indicator and mask release handles are visible.
October 17, 201312 yr Author Do you mean the red things? Because when I click the clickable red area in the tan colored square just behind the tiller I'm not hearing any air? Aaron Brazda.
October 17, 201312 yr The first one is "Gyro Caging control" it says to call then release. The standby gyro needs to be "erected." You pull the knob to erect the gyro, and then you release the knob. Matt Cee
October 18, 201312 yr Do you mean the red things? Because when I click the clickable red area in the tan colored square just behind the tiller I'm not hearing any air? To the left of the red handles is a white arrow. That's where the test switch is.
