Operations Center and Non-PMDG Supplied Liveries

Featured Replies

I recently installed the Goldstar version of the AeroLogic 777F livery.  The livery is also available from PMDG.  The next time I ran Operations Center, it showed that there was an update available for that livery.  Is that because Goldstar provided an update, or because Operations Center compared the Goldstar livery to the PMDG-supplied livery and since they would probably be different, decided to an update was necessary?

Thanks.

I don't think there is any way the Ops Center could know an update was available for the Goldstar Textures...

The Goldstar textures are in the Avsim library and PMDG seems pretty tight with Avsim so maybe there is a backdoor link?

Nope. Non-PMDG don't show up in the livery downloader, so there isn't anyway way to have info on updates.

Also, keeping that database up to date would be a hassle.

The "tracked" liveries (with update info etc.) are all stored on the PMDG server, NOT on AVSIM.

Hi, my version of the Aerologic paint will NOT provide any update to the PMDG scheme. As stated above, all third party paints are dealt with, separately to the PMDG Ones.
