Has anyone purchased Megasceneryearth Belgium? I could not find any specs for the scenery on the website what resolution is it using and how does it compare to the freeware one by Gerard (not wafflefight)?

 

Also if I purchase MSE Switzerland and install it higher than Swiss Pro does that mean I will get higher resolution photoscenery and retain all the 3d buildings and tree's etc.

I suggest you do not purchase mse Swiss. It's color variance is horrible. Swiss pro is tens times the product, and more expensive too.

 

Don't know about Belgium. If you do get it, look at the openVFR Autogen file for it. It will put down trees and buildings at their real world location for Belgium. Should look nice, depending on whether MSE did a good job with Belgium..

I think MSE Switzerland is just fine for its price although I'm not sure if it's worth getting if you already own Switzerland Pro X. 

Most all MSE v2 scenery is 50cm/pixel source imagery throughout. So 50cm/pixel source for Belgium. I do not know what the freeware one offers in terms of resolution? You could compare the screenshots from the MSE Belgium page and the free scenery and you could quickly tell if there was a difference I guess.

Yes, I like it.  I have nothing to compare it against for photo scenery.

Agree, with discounts it came to about $20 ... Switzerland Pro is $160.  I don't have Switzerland Pro so I can't tell you if it's subjectively $140 better than MSE Switzerland.  I recorded a video of MSE Switzerland with FTX Global covering Austria in this thread here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/425473-innsbruck-to-zurich-hits-1-spot/
