October 30, 201312 yr Hi guys! One question: I have a GTX 760 with dual bios, how do I run this, both bios on? October 31, 201312 yr You can't have both bios on, that wouldn't make sense. It's one or the other. You can use one bios for overclocking and one for stock if you like. Or if you suffer a corupted BIOS you have the other as a back up. I have a GTX770 SC Duel BIOS 4 GB card from EVGA. On my card, to switch to second BIOS you flip a switch on the card itself.
October 31, 201312 yr Author Yes but my card is different! I have 2 separate switches. Thanks for help, I've asked on EVGA forum, I can run with both switches to on! October 31, 201312 yr Not heard of that before. I would guess that if the card has a seperate switch for each bios, then it must only run bios one if both are on. It must favour one bios version, because it obviously can't run two at the same time. Weird desighn choice really.
October 31, 201312 yr I have found that with my GTX 780 there is a noticeable difference in how smooth FSX runs, I know that FSX is CPU bound but there is something in the design of the newer GPU's that has made a difference. You just want to make sure that you have a stable OC which is comprised of well tested FSB freq., clock speed and proper memory settings and timings. Finish that up with a successful boot and test with a utility like Prime95 and FSX should not be an issue as long as your system remains stable with or without the added switch. \Robert Hamlich/
