October 31, 201312 yr Sometimes FS9 decides to switch to 'top-down' view, without (apparently) any input from me. I can't get out of this view then without using the FS menu bar. is it possible to remove this view completely (in the fs9.cfg file???) as I never use it and it is just a nuisance when this happens. October 31, 201312 yr The default key assignment for Top Down View is Ctrl+S. Based on your other current thread I suspect you are having key assignment issues with an addon. I am not on an FS9 machine right now, however I believe you can change the key assignment in the FS9 settings. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
October 31, 201312 yr Author Thanks, simple solution! I have deleted the Ctrl+S assignment in the FS menu, so I'll see if that helps. It only happened very occasionally, so it may be a while before I see whether the 'solution' is a solution, but I guess with no keyboard shortcut in the fs9.cfg file now, I shouldn't be able to get this view (apart from via the FS9 menu bar).
