Both cards are great, I say go for the cheaper one. On a side note, I do not see the point in going socket 2011 if your only going to run FSX (gaming), for strickly gaming I believe the Z87 chipset is better suited and better price to performance.

I've been running Asus mobos and EGVA cards for 8 years now and never has issues with either. Although I like Asus for mobos, I tend to stick to EVGA for GPU's since I have had a perfect track record with them.
