Hi, 

 

I am considering the Saitek Multi Panel to add to my setup and to increase immersion and realism. I am one of those simmers that loves complete accuracy such as PMDG. Before I take the plunge and purchase the panel, I'd like to hear from current owners please. I have the following questions to ask before buying:

 

- Does the panel fully work with SPAD and PMDG? (A/T and all A/P functions working)

- Can the sensitivity of the autopilot knob be changed to allow for faster autopilot functions? 

- Does it work with the LDS 767, all PMDG aircraft and Aerosoft Airbus X?

- Is a fully registered FSUIPC version required to achieve the items mentioned above?

I don't have any of the aircraft you mention, so I can only answer 2 and 4 (However there is a profile already in place in SPAD for the NGX if that helps):

Yes you can change the sensitivity... I tried it and honestly didn't like it.  I wish it was more like the radio knobs where it was dual rotary encoders.

You'll need the full FSUIPC to work with SPAD.  Well worth it.

I have a Saitek Multi Panel, Switch Panel & Radio Panel along with an X52 Pro. All the panels work 100% with the PMDG NGX, I have found only the radio panel works with the 777. I also have the airbus x extended. Haven't got them working with that. I tend to prefer the PMDG aircraft

 

Make sure you use Spad. I also have a registered FSUIPC.
