menu bar in window mode.. low fps

Featured Replies

Hello

Just wanted to post that if we show the menu bar in window mode (to use my 5040x1050 res, because in full screen don't let me use it) I have a frame drop. Big one. Once I press the Alt key.. it is gone.

The menu bar does decrease performance, just make sure you hide it after opening it.

I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.

Yes, same here. Huge FPS drop with menu bar showing. Full screen is fine though.

Are you guys using Windows 7 or 8.1? Just a sneaking suspicion it might be 8 related but if you're running 7, it's definitely not that :P

Win 7.

FPS locked at 30 FPS.

Bring up the menu bar and the FPS instantly tanks to 15 with a stuttering mess.

Press ALT, menu bar goes away and all is well again. Its not that big of a deal but annoying none the less.
