November 26, 201312 yr Okay, changed planes and starting airport to run a test flight. I screwed up the flight and wanted to restart. I hit the "restart flight" option, then I'm in the F-22 blating down the runway (as in the default flight). that could be a problem for me! Can anyone try this to see if this is the norm? Thanks
November 26, 201312 yr Commercial Member Oh the F22 always moves when you load in. At least, it does for me. I just have to slam on the brakes. Check your hardware throttles, they may not be at idle if you're blasting down the runway. I see about 10knts max. Aamir Thacker
November 26, 201312 yr Author Thanks, but what I mean to say is, if I am in a different plane, when I restart the flight, why am I in the default start-up flight? Thanks
November 26, 201312 yr Commercial Member Ah, you mean when you hit the reset button? Yeah, that's kinda how the software works. Happens to me too. Aamir Thacker
November 26, 201312 yr I was going to ask the same question ever time i start the sim the plane goes crazy i crash. even when i try different planes. Is there a way to fix it?
December 3, 201312 yr Author I had to map the throttle on my joystick to get that to stop. It wasn't mapped on default. But that still doesn't help when resetting a flight! Thanks
December 3, 201312 yr Moderator Why they picked the F22 for the default flight is anyone's guess. Frankly, I replaced the default flight with the A36 parked cold and dark on the ramp at my own local airport KGYY... Problem solved. B) EDIT: Instead of using "Reset Flight", program some unused key-combo such as Ctrl-Shift-R to use "Reload User Aircraft"... Fr.
