FSX wants to "repair" previous in but I uninstalled So I thought

I really need assistance.  I've use to know how.  I've uninstalled and removed FSX folder yet when i go to reinstall it asks if i want to repair/uninstll.  I cant even get Ultimate Traffic 2 to start up after install.  I'm wonder if Win 8.1 update is the perpose

How did you uninstall FSX: Did you run the uninstaller of every installed product and then the uninstaller of FSX, or did you simply manually delete the FSX directories? In the first case, I have no idea at all, but in the second case I have: Not using the uninstaller will not remove the registry entries FSX made on your computer, so when you insert the disk, your computer will be forced to "think" that FSX is still installed and hence does only give you the option to uninstall and repair. So you could try to use the uninstall option and that should remove all traces of FSX...

Hi era

follow link

  http://www.filecluster.com/downloads/Windows-Installer-CleanUp-Utility.html

download and run this..find the FSX entry  tick the box (i think) this will delete all registry entries and anything else it finds.then you

can install a fresh copy of FSX.

I've had to use this a few times and it always works perfect.

Oh I have and nothing has yet to work.  That's why I posted here sir.

You have to use the FSX uninstaller, not the command from the control panel list of programs.

That means re-install the program, then uninstall the program.  Delete the empty folders left in the directory and you can do a clean install.
