November 27, 201312 yr Hi guys I'm thinking of getting a Palit Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB PCI-Express card-is all I can afford at the moment. Do you think Ill be able to run p3d? I have a q6600 quad core rig running at about 2.6 G. Any inputs would be very welcome Jay
November 27, 201312 yr The 2GB of RAM is a limiting factor but by no means a deal breaker.. You'll be fine there (I am and so are many others).. Speed and power wise you will be fine.. You're not going to be maxing out everything but you will be far from sliding everything left and running at 800x600. The CPU @ 2.6GHz I can't answer.. A lot of work was removed from the CPU in v2 but only those with lower end CPU's like yours will be able to give you an honest assessment of that.. Again though.. 660 will be fine (just make sure your power supply is the proper wattage to power it).. Just don't expect to max everything out.
