What are the busiest airports on VATSIM?

Featured Replies

Good morning/evening guys,

I am looking for an online platform to see which are the busiest airport on VATSIM? I mean not the traffic which arrives and departs there. My attention is more for ATC. Want to buy some add-ons for US, but it would depend on which airport is really often stuffed with ATC. I am flying more in Europe, so I have no really good feeling about what is going on other side of the Atlantic.

Do you know on which airport I might expect a huge ATC coverage permanently? At least with an TWR or APP controller.

Hope you guys have an idea for what I am looking for.

Cheers!

What about VRoute or Vatspy? The major ones are usually staffed... New York, Washington, Boston , Chicago, Miami LAX etc

If you want to see where ATC is without installing an application, you can also use http://www.vattastic.com/

Gatwick is pretty busy all hours of the day.

+CXA001  I was just going to say that! Absolutely. I use Vattastic almost every day. It keeps track of all centers, ATC, major Hubs, events, and even all the active Aircraft WITH their flightplan. And... it's FREE! No download (of course) because it is a website  and you don't need to sign up. Happy flying! Vattastic *Highly* recommended.
