December 2, 201312 yr Just did a 4.5 hour flight around Iceland (with the ORBX Iceland demo) - V2 just knock my socks off! Granted there are some bugs that still need quashing, but the fluidity, lighting/effects and performance make this such an immersive experience. Even the default clouds look pretty darn good. Also flew a Vancouver to Seattle run yesterday (with FTXG, WOAI traffic at 25%, autogen at very dense, and building + terrain shadows set to cast & receive) to see if I was going to hit the OOM wall - thankfully, nothing to report. With the performance this sim allows from older hardware like mine, I do see that finding the "wall" is definitely more difficult than FSX (I'd be getting a slideshow with these settings, so I'd never test long enough to actually hit an OOM...)!
