December 19, 200421 yr I'll just say this, the wife and kids get very mad at me sometimes and they don't go to bed until 11pm... I'm usually up till 2am and have to be at work by 8:15am. No one in the house is into aviation like I am so that doesn't help either. Maybe my 16 month old will one day share my love for it. I'm starting to learn either you have it or you don't at a young age. I've loved aviation for as long as I can remember. At 7 years old I remember my father taking me up in gliders and Cessna FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

December 19, 200421 yr Very interesting reading everyone.....Like so many here, I've always been interested in aviation from a very young age. I still remember my first real flight at the age of 7 on a DC-9. DC-9's are very special too me, and I will always have a hanger for one in Flight Sim. Thank you Northwest for still flying them into my hometown.... ;)I only really love commercial aircraft (Boeing 737s, 727's, DC9's, Airbuses etc etc) and can remember playing with my friends "airplane" and was always the captain in a make shift cockpit.. :-lolIn 1981 at 16, I got my private pilot licence and was planning on going all the way.. But somewhere down the road, I never made it.. Other great things in my life, like my wife and family changed that, and now I try to relive what might of been through flight simulator.I've become an IFR flightSim Commercial aviation nut, and can never see me stopping this great hobby... Maybe I'm trying to live a dream that will never happen for me, I don't know, but one thing I do know.... I need a faster computer... :-lolHappy holidays everyone.....
December 19, 200421 yr <<< But somewhere down the road, I never made it.. >>>Getting a private pilots license is no small thing friend :)Not everyone can get that piece of paper that allows you to pilot an aircraft and just because you are not tearing around in an A340 does not mean you didnt make it! Once a pilot always a pilot.http://www.bitwisegifts.com/Merchant2/grap...00001/12101.jpg
