On the positive side the latest version may be a little better in heavy cloud when using ssaa or sgaa.

 

I guess the freeware can probably display legacy scenery at night without textures somewhat faster than dx10sf can display it using the textures!

 

Features that may impact performance negatively

 

Enabling effects can impact frame rate when particulate effects such as smoke or spray are involved. There is a menu option to reduce this and the lights package should fix standard nav lights anyway without effects.

 

Hd jet shadows could have a very small fps impact

Sounds like Fixer might be very slightly slower if noticeable at all. 

 

Just wanted to confirm there are no major change or drawbacks is all.
