Flight 1 Cessna 441 has hops...

Featured Replies

Hello: Bought the Flight 1 Conquest and am perplexed. It hops around on the ground in FS 9.1. Something must be wrong, it is such a highly regarded product. Any ideas? K

What do you mean by "hops around"?Are you taxiing in the dirt or on the taxiway?

Bert: Thanks for taking the time to reply. It seems to be when I run up the torque with the brakes on, just before the takeoff roll. K

I can only get the C411 to "hop" if I let it creep with full power and brakes on "in the dirt" next to the runway. As long as the plane is on a smooth surface, it just creeps slightly at full power. If you have further problems, suggest posting in the Flight1 support forum where other users hang out and may be able to help!I happen to think that the C441 is one of the very best planes out there.. you should not have any problems with it as long as you stay within the safe limits of the plane (just like in the real world).Try another runway to see if that makes a difference.

Bert: Yes, I see what you mean. I found the problem. I was momentarily releasing and applying the brakes, because I upgraded FSUIPC. It would creep and the brakes were applying assymetrically. It's OK now, and I like flying the plane. It has more "feel" and demands a little more attention than the Citation II, which is like it is on "rails". Thanks for helping. K
